Calendar pages

In a swap on the YPP ...I had to do Calendar pages for Feb and July. I love the way they turned out and hope that the ladies in my group do as well. I can't wait to see the complete calendar when the hostess returns them to us.

Here is my Feb....I used a paper doily, inked it with TH Dist. Inks in brushed corduroy, walnut, and tattered rose to give them the antique feel. I then aged the calendar the same way and heat set them. I used *George* cricut cart to make Primitive hearts. Then wrapped them in a pink twine., added pearls in brown, pink and cream. Used clear gem flourish to the bottom to give the extra zing it need. LOVE THEM!!!

July I used the *Stand & Salute* cricut cart for the Liberty Bell. Added stars in red/blue and a TH Memo pin to hold the calendar. I like them...but not like the Feb...lol.  Sorry...just realized I didn't take July photos..uggghhhh
Thanks for looking.

Vintage Christmas Calling cards

These are actually called rolodex cards...but they are used for holding info on a rolodex. The theme was Vintage Christmas and I truely enjoyed the way they look. Used a variety of vintaged/aged themed papers and Heartfelt Creations Vintage tags....each different. I then sprayed and crinkled seam binding to give the Christmas feel to the deep green/red colors. Used Whimsy Ticket die and stamps for Christmas to play in the TH Memo pin.....ca-ute....I am happy with my creations.

ENJOY~~~

Christmas Match Box

I love how this turned out. I took a match box purchased with matches from Dollar General. I emptied it out...and then started  to give the box a NEW look. My sis for the swap wanted Deep greens and reds for the theme. Here is my take on her idea. I used Papers from Tim HOltz Seasonal stack....and gave it the VINTAGE vibe. I used a plaid green/cream/red gingham ribbon along with a wider cream crocheted ribbon from my stash. Used cream prima flowers and inked them just a hint to give them color...I then added clear snowflakes and flourishes to give the Wintery affect it needed. ENJOY Cherie!!!

We had to make a dangel...2 flowers and 3 pins to place inside the box. My flowers are PINK...one of her fav colors.

ENJOY~~~

Looks good enough to eat!

I am really impressed with how my GINGERBREAD photo frame turned out. I just know Kathy will love it. She had given me ideas on a photo she had to put into this frame. I painted it a dark chocolate brown to start with...added cuts from a MS deep edge punch for the shingles and then pop-dotted the edge of it out to give the illusion of a ROOF. Added gems for lil' candies on the house. The photo place is the actual WINDOW for the house.  I soo love this!!!!

Altered Christmas Dominos

These are such a joy to make. I love them!!! I used my Tim Holtz alcohol inks in denim and aqua and pearl additive to give the color these have. I then heat set them with my heat gun. Used winter themed stamps I have  along with staz-on black ink and stamped them. Heat set it too....just for luck!  Add a magnetic strip to the back and Voila!!!! you are done. I hope all enjoy them in the CMB Swap.

FAMILY BLOCKS

I was given some SU wooden stamp blocks with the stamps removed. I had a clever idea to make a **Family** block set for a swap. I hope she enjoys them. I Chose a variety of heights and widths to give interest...and then decided to do a color scheme she liked. ....black/cream/red. I used my Cricut and Don Juan cart to cut the letters. The paper is from M's. I mod podged the paper to the block...sanded the edges and then added the letters. Topped it w/more mod podge and let dry. Finished them off with silver pearls.  What fun project!!!

Winter Pin Cushion

I've recently been in a WINTER themed pin cushion swap. Liz was my partner and this is what I did for her. She wanted a teacup cushion...so this is soo pretty. I found the cup and saucer at Goodwill for next to nothing...and added my *touches* to it. I think it's soo well done...LIz this is for you...enjoy!

The patterned material for the cover was a cream ...I used Peppermint stick glimmer mist to give the red color I needed. The NOW English Ivy crocheted ribbon was also glimmer misted from cream to get this color. I JUST LOVE THAT STUFF~~~~ I added a small Christmas tree button...some buttons..a few snowflakes...and some mini wooden spools for that special touch. I then added sparkle glitter to look like snow on it.  I also used a small tab punch for the  sign and stamped the word **WISH** and put it on a Tim HOltz memo pin

Fall Pin Cushion 2

This time this is a cup/saucer Fall themed pin cushion for a friend who was flaked on. I HATE THAT!!!!! SHe is such a sweet lady and deserved to have one as she sent one. I **ANGELED** the spot to make Kerrie a pin cushion. Here is what I  made. I used a white trimmed in gold..(perfect Fall color) cup and saucer from the Goodwill store. I used warm rich tones in all embellies to give the Autumn flair it needed. I sure hope it fits Kerrie's taste.

Started out like this!!!!

Fall inspired colors for the embellishments. I MADE this flower!

Extras to give it personality!

Band-aid Box 2

Here is another version of an altered band-aid tin. This one is for Heather aka ScrappyChick. She was my partner in the OCT color Combo swap on the CMB. Our colors to work with was brown and blue.. I love how it turned out. THe Primas were dusted lightly across them witn ink to give a hint of color. I used TH Alcohol inks in pebble/hazelnut/denim for the basic start. I used the brown/blue ribbon from stash. The *H* was a leftover alpha letter so I inked it with SU chocolate chip ink and heat set it...I made the stick pin to add.

Leave some love on how you like it.

Autumn Wreath

Love how this turned out!!! It was one of the Handmade items for Candy's box. She really enjoyed it too. It's a small grapevine wreath I had used a wide blue/brown plaid ribbon around.  Handmade and prima flowers are carefully placed around the bow of the ribbon. I used a stick pin I had also made. The small banner was cut from the MFT dies...layered and  put onto chocolate brown twine. Sooo pretty!

Enjoy---
