DRs update

Yesterday I had a visit with the foot DR. He isn't happy with how puffy it still is...so I'm still off work until the 16th.  Ok with me...I may not want to go back by then...lol

This is a Christmas tree I had made out of a transparency sheet and vellum glued to it. Then took several snowflakes, cut from my Cricut in a few sizes and glued them to the vellum. Added colored buttons in shades of blues, half-backed pearls in silver and navy...and added a silver star on top. The star is actually 3 stars...glued at the points to make a triangle to place on the top. Then I cut 2 circles for the skirt....LOVE how it turned out...it's for a swap...so I'm hoping my partner will love it. I had seen it on another blog and loved how she did hers...mine is not as pretty...but I love it anyways.

Our NEW addition to the Family

Here is the newest member of our family. His name is Sprint. DD brought hime to us. He was a stray. He is a good dog...but full of energy. OMW...tons of it and very curious. He is a Vizsla....a breed of bird dog. SO he is always on the trail of something....lol.  It took sometime for him and Kahlua to get along..but now they are buddies. I can't wait for the PUPPY stage to be done with...lol.

He is now just a part of the family...AND we are happy to give him a loving home.

Roses from DH

Today is my anniversary

Missed being on here

Hello to all...

I've been missing for a while. NO internet for 2 weeks. UGHHHH! DH decided to change our satelite provider...then decided to get the internet thru the satelite. Ok...no problem. Then they cancelled twice on  our installation. NO WAY! Finally ...he arrived this past Friday to hook us up. YAHHHHH....so I'm back. I can't live without my computer.  I've missed being on here and posting.

Bad day yesterday

I was off my foot most of the day. I had to go to the DR...it is infected. UGHHHH!!! The cap to the pin had came off and it's swollen. She gave me an antibiotic for it. I'm hoping it helps...FAST.  She rewrapped it in PINK...my fav color...LOL :)

My Boo Boo foot

Well the DR appt went well. My foot is healing well. I"m glad...it didn't look well...LOL.. I overdid it yesterday. Up doing laundry and house work..ughhh. Bad bad Rhonda!!!!!! I should' t have done it. I feel the PAIN...literally.

Princess Can

THis is a can I've made for a sister on the cricut site. I love the way it turned out.. The pinks and green are sooo adorable together. I want to keep it for myself...lol. I know it will be well loved. She is a wonderful lady and I'm happy to have done it for her. ENJOY!!!

DR appt day..

Today at 3pm I go to see the foot DR. I'm hoping it's healing well. I am soo curious to see how it looks as well. Say a prayer for me...

GOOD morning !!!

Well today is Monday and I'm off work. I had surgery on my rt foot on Friday and I'm hoping it was a HUGE success. I go for a visit to the DR on Thursday. Praying all goes well.

I've not had much time to do anything lately due to the surgery. Now that I'm off...I plan to get caught up and do more. I will be off work for 8-10 weeks....so I have plenty of time :)

I rec'vd a gorgeous can from a Cricut sister Friday. OMG...it's beautiful. SHe does amazing work. I'll post a photo of my can. SHe is quiet talented and needs to give herself more credit than she does....THANK YOU, Angie. I love my can!!!!

DD, Kia is moving out. I"m soo sad...but she has to experience life and now is the time to do it. She is moving in with a friend from high school. They are not attending the same college but in the same town. So they will enjoy the life of freedom together. I worry...but that is part of a mom's right...she will adventure out into the unknown and love what it has to offer. SHe is a brave girl...full of life and knowledge. I know she will go FAR!!!! She also knows I am just a call away and a short drive...25 minutes. Enjoy life, baby girl....you only get once chance to really live it up.
